The Region IV DOD P2 Partnership Listserve has been established as a communication tool for the DOD-State-EPA Region IV P2 Partnerships in EPA Region IV. It is designed to promote discussions among pollution prevention technical assistance providers about methods for implementing pollution prevention. It focuses on topics and events of common interest as well as enhancing and facilitating communication among states. All information is provided at no cost to you.

It is suggested strongly that the DODp3 Listserve be used for asking unique questions such as "is there anyone out there who has a background in X and could help explain X or does anyone know about the new requirement X that will occur X. Please don’t use the Listserve to send meeting minutes, routine publications, etc. There will be other suitable locations developing on the WWW for posting such information in the future.

If you have doubts about whether you should belong and/or have concerns about being able to handle the influx of e-mail that might be possible, please consider these options:

1. Some offices designate one person to belong to a Listserve and filter the incoming mail to be forwarded to others as appropriate.
2. Some persons use the option on their e-mail setup to automatically filter incoming messages and deposit Listserve e-mail into a separate in-box. This allows the person to check their messages at their leisure instead of adding to their very busy in-box.
