- Some cities and counties collect fluorescent lights in their household hazardous waste programs. Contact your city or county government to learn about local options.
- EasyPak is a safe and easy way to recycle fluorescent bulbs, batteries, ballasts and electronics.
- The U.S. Postal Service offers a bulb recycling program called RecyclePak.
- Home Depot stores all accept compact fluorescents from customers.
- Waste Management, Inc. offers fluorescent bulb recycling through its Think Green From Home service.
- Many commercial fluorescent light recyclers also may have mail-in recycling kits you can use. See the state Recycling Markets Directory for a list of other fluorescent recycling companies.
