Education and Incentives Programs


DPPEA knows that education and outreach are very important components of a successful recycling and waste reduction program. This is why we've developed the Recycle Guys into a statewide recycling promotion campaign with television and cinema ads, and educational material such as posters, tattoos, stickers, activity books and trading cards. Many local governments have already taken advantage of this program by using the Recycle Guys in their in-house educational materials, distributing the educational materials at school and community events, and even by painting the guys on collection trucks and equipment. Local governments have also created their own education and incentives programs to increase knowledge of recycling options among citizens.  Contact Kelley Dennings at (919) 715-6507 for more information or to request materials.
