Steward Forum 2008

The meeting was held at the Cameron Village Library in Raleigh. The topics discussed included effective strategies implemented by stewards at their facility for water conservation, reducing the carbon footprint of the ESI participants, and the state of the environment in North Carolina in 10 years.

An Environmental Steward is the highest level of membership in ESI and is intended to recognize organizations that demonstrate aggressive environmental performance goals, beyond compliance activities, a mature environmental management system that is integrated into core business functions and processes to communicate with the local community on environmental activities.
