Environmental Sustainability Report
The process to make sustainability a part of our daily work is embedded in our
agency strategic goals for effective and efficient operations. Currently we have a
sustainability executive who reports to the deputy state superintendent and an assistant who serves as the section chief for Agency Services. These two
employees work with the Agency Advisory Council who represents each division within the department. This group meets on a quarterly basis and discusses
appropriate sustainability issues. As a result of these quarterly meetings, sustainability is kept in the forefront and enhances our continuous improvement.
