Groundwater Section Rulemaking Information

CHANGES TO GROUNDWATER QUALITY STANDARDS

1) New Draft Groundwater Quality Rules - 15A NCAC 2L .0202 (updated 2/15/2001)
(These draft rules have been approved by the Environmental Management
Commission.  On February 28, 2001 The Rule Review Commission is scheduled
to review these rules.  Pending RRC approval, the rules will then proceed
to the next Legislative Session pursuant to NCGS 150B)

CHANGES TO WELL CONSTRUCTION RULES

1)  New Draft Well Construction Rules - 15A NCAC 2C   (updated 2/26/2001)
        Contains changes in response to Public Hearing and the Rules Review Commission

2)  Notice of Public Hearing for 15A NCAC 2C - Well Construction Rules
