Solid Waste Management in Florida
August 1999

This 1999 Solid Waste Management Annual Report provides a comprehensive analysis of solid waste generation, recycling and disposal in Florida primarily based on information compiled by each county for 1997. This report also includes information about the activities of the Department, other state agencies and organizations dealing with waste issues.

 

 


   This report is available in Adobe's Portable Document Format (PDF). If you do not already have a copy of the reader software, it is available free-of-charge from Adobe's site. Click on the yellow button above to download the software now.  Once you have the Acrobat reader software installed, you may download the entire report or specific chapters.

This year, the tables presented in the appendices can also be downloaded in an Microsoft Excel or Word format. Details can be found in the Appendices Section below.

Instructions
  To download the entire report:
1. Create a directory on your hard drive for the report.
2. Download the following file, saving it in the directory you just created.
Download file swm99.exe
3. Unzip the file and extract it into the directory that you created in Step 1
4. Either click on a specific PDF file to open the Acrobat Reader or open the Reader and choose File-Open-"filename".

  To download specific chapters of the report:

1. Make sure that you have the Acrobat Reader installed.
2. Click on the appropriate chapter below and the Acrobat Reader will open up inside of your web browser
